Privacy Policy
Last updated: 5 July 2026
Aunatron Systems (“Aunatron”, “we”, “us”) is a technology and engineering company based in Accra, Ghana. This policy explains what personal data aunatron.com collects, why, and the choices you have. We keep data collection to the minimum the site needs to function.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you use the contact form we collect your name, organization (optional), the purpose you select, and your message. You choose what to send us.
Abuse prevention. To stop the contact form being flooded, we store a one-way, salted hash of your IP address — not the address itself. The hash cannot be reversed to identify you; it only lets us count recent submissions from the same source.
Operational logs. Our hosting and security providers (below) process technical information such as IP addresses and request metadata to deliver and protect the site. This is standard server and network operation, retained under their own policies.
Cookies and tracking
We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site trackers, or third-party marketing pixels. The site sets no tracking cookies. If we ever add usage analytics, it will be privacy-friendly and cookieless, counting visits in aggregate without identifying individuals — and we will update this policy first.
How we use your information
- To read and respond to your inquiry.
- To keep the contact form and the site secure and available.
- To keep records of legitimate correspondence.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data, and we do not use it for automated decisions that affect you.
Service providers
We rely on a small number of processors to run the site, each acting on our behalf under their own terms: hosting and delivery (Vercel), database (Supabase), transactional email (Resend), and DNS and security (Cloudflare). Some may process data outside Ghana, including in the European Union and the United States. We share your data only with these providers, or where the law requires it.
Retention
We keep contact submissions for as long as needed to handle your inquiry and maintain reasonable business records, then delete them. You can ask us to delete your submission sooner.
Your rights
You may ask to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, or object to our use of it. These rights are recognised under Ghana’s Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843); if you are in the European Union or United Kingdom, the GDPR gives you equivalent rights. To exercise any of them, email info@aunatron.com.
Security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures — encryption in transit, hashed rather than raw IPs, and restricted access to submissions. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
The site is intended for businesses, institutions, and professional audiences. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site evolves. The date at the top shows the latest version; material changes will be reflected here.
